The departmental open house for admitted graduate students is your opportunity to visit the campus and get to know the UBC faculty, current graduate students and some of the incoming class to help you decide to pursue graduate studies at UBC in Physics and Astronomy.

This year's open house begins officially on the morning of Friday March 8 and continues through the afternoon of Saturday March 9 with most of the scheduled events on the Friday.  We expect most students to arrive on Thursday and leave Saturday evening, so you can also arrange meetings on Thursday.  We can arrange accommodation for you during the official open house (through the registration form), or if you want to visit at some other time (please email Jeremy in this case).

You will get to meet our faculty one-on-one and also learn about all of the research areas in UBC Physics and Astronomy.  You can also tour some of our world-class laboratories at TRIUMF, SBQMI and BC Cancer.

On Friday evening you will enjoy dinner and a night-out with the rest of our prospective students, and some of our current graduate students and faculty members.
